Brenham Independent Winterguard is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enrichment of individuals, 14 to 22 years of age, who wish to further their performance platform in the colorguard activity. It was founded to create a colorguard community of mutual respect for young adults that fosters learning, self-discipline, character development and self-esteem; and to promote the values of dedication, hard work, team work, integrity and pride of accomplishment through striving for excellence.
Based out of Brenham, TX and Houston, TX the practice locations are also easily accessible from Austin, College Station and San Antonio as well.
Brenham Independent is under the direction of experienced and successful staff members who are passionate about the independent activity. Plans are well under way for an exciting and unique concept for the coming season.
The guard will compete in Independent A class and our talented college and high school age performers will be part of the history making 2013 season.
Itinerary for the 2013 season includes TCGC circuit shows and Championships and all three WGI Texas Regionals (Austin, Houston, Dallas). In addition, the group will attend WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio in April.
